THE TOWN OF MANDYA

Travelling from Bangalore to Mysore we come across the township of MANDYA.     The order of towns on this route are BIDADI  RAMANAGAR CHENNAPATTANA  MADDUR MANDYA PANDAVAPURA SRIRANGAPATTANA and MYSORE. This entire belt is known for agricultural produce and MANDYA known for growing SUGARCANE. Growing SUGARCANE needs large water resources and the Cauvery basin provides water.KRS dam and the Brundavan gardens are technically in the larger district of MANDYA.

The town of Mandya is a commercially vibrant place and has a decent railway station attached to a large park and the KSRTC bus station is slightly far from the Station like in many towns in this part of the world.. MANDYA is 20km from MADDUR and 30 kms from SRIRANGAPATTANA.

There are many Express trains today that traverse this route and most of them have a stop at Mandya. Mandya can be developed as a TECHNOLOGY HUB to ease the stress on Bangalore something that the Central Government CAN CONSIDER SERIOUSLY.
